Facewash Hockey Club is a registered 501(c)7 non-profit organization, established with the mission of making hockey more accessible for more people across the Chicagoland area. Original team established in 2013, Facewash has expanded to play in 9 distinct divisions across 3 rinks in Chicago alone and has grown to over 100 active members. Our teams have earned some hardware in the last few years, with C3, FHL, McFet D1, McFet D2, C2-Red (now Bronze AA), and C2-Black (now Silver A) all taking home at least 1 championship trophy. In 2025, Facewash (with the help of our sponsor bar, Pete's Place) sent a team to the US National Pond Hockey Championships in Minnesota, and in 2026, will be sending 3 teams to 3 different pond hockey tournaments in the northern Midwest.

As of 2026, Facewash teams compete in the following leagues:

• Blackhawks Adult League (Fifth Third Arena): Silver AA, Silver A, Bronze AA, Copper AA

• McFetridge Sports Center: Division 2, Division 3

• Johnny's Adult League (Johnny's Ice House): C, C3, FHL
